Renee Zellwegger and Bradley Cooper have called it quits after dating for two years, sources confirmed to People Magazine and US Weekly.

They met for the first time in 2006, while filming ‘Case 39’, and married other people. Zellwegger married country star Kenny Chesney in 2005, but divorced him four months later, while Cooper married “Blue Bloods” actress Jennifer Esposito in 2006 and divorced her in 2007.

In late 2009, rumors circulated that the couple was dating, and that it was serious, with a friend of theirs telling the New York Post, “They’re the real deal!” However, Zellwegger and Cooper never confirmed that they were dating.

The couple worked hard to hide their relationship, but they were frequently seen together, and were said to have moved in together last fall, according to People Magazine. Cooper, 36, has also been very vocal with his feelings about his lady.

“I can’t say enough about her,” he said in September while promoting “Case 39”. “I just love her. I [loved] coming to work. I love acting with her. I can learn so much from her.”

Renee Zellwegger, 41, was equally enthusiastic, telling ET, “[Bradley]’s a great, great actor. I just got so excited, not believing that I was going to go to work with him.”

They were also reportedly spending time with each other’s families, and Zellwegger is said to have missed the Golden Globes ceremony in January to be with Cooper when his father died. She was also seen hanging out with his mother on numerous occasions, according to the New York Daily News.

However, the couple remained mum about dating each other for the duration of their relationship. When grilled by Howard Stone about dating rumors, Cooper answered, “I’m not going to talk about that,” Bradley told Howard. “I just don’t talk about it… certain things are just — you understand that,” he said according to Access Hollywood.
