Kourtney Kardashian Gets Engaged to Scott Disick

After dating on and off for years, and having a baby together in 2010, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are finally engaged to be married.

According to Popeater, an insider source said, “The last episode of ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’ is Scott proposing.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, it was really difficult for the couple to keep quiet about the engagement that is due to appear in the show’s season finale in April. “She’s so excited for the finale to air this April so she can finally go out in public with her ring on. She wears it at home all the time.”

There is talk that the newly-engaged couple will sign with E! Entertainment for a spin off show on their upcoming wedding preparations that will be conceptualized by Kris Kardashian. “Just like sister Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Scott will not only get their own show but also a wedding. It’s going to be TV gold,” said the source to Popeater.

The Kardashians rose to fame as a typical Hollywood blended family in the reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” that began airing on E! on October 14, 2007. Since then several spin-off shows have been created such as “Kourtney and Khloe take Miami” that followed Kourtney and Khloe as they opened their store in Miami. When Khloe and Lamar Odom got married, there was also a hit show that followed their wedding.

More recently, “Kourtney and Kim take New York” followed the girls as they opened their Dash store in New York City. Khloe recently signed with E! to star in a reality show about her married life with Los Angeles Lakers basketball star, Lamar Odom, according to Bloginity. If any of the previous shows are any indication, the newest addition to the Kardashian repertoire is sure to be as successful and popular as all the others.

“What is going to make this new show a monster hit is that Scott and Kourtney are actually happier than ever…Heading toward the alter is the next step for them with or without the cameras,” tells the insider source to Popeater.
