True Blood Fans Treated to a Sneak Peek in LA

Fans who packed into the Paley Center in Los Angeles on Saturday for a ‘True Blood’ tribute got more than what they bargained for and were treated to a sneak peek of the upcoming fourth season of the hit HBO show to air in June.

The entire cast of the hit series including creator, Alan Ball were at the event. The most memorable moments from the first three seasons were shown, and then a brief scene from Season 4 which featured Pam and lovebirds, Hoyt and Jessica in front of Fangtasia while they try to keep away protestors, and according to the Hollywood Reporter, “things get hairy to say the least.”

In some other Season 4 sneak peeks, Sookie recently returned from Fairyland a new “fairy” and feels “different” but is still unable to control her microwave fingers, says Access Hollywood. She is still broken up from Bill because of his “betrayal,” but there are possibilities for her to have other relationships, either with Alcide or Eric. Anna Paquin weighed Sookie’s options saying, “Well, Alcide doesn’t turn into a charred ball of fire in daytime,” but Eric is problematic for Sookie, “He’s caused her some trouble. He seems to be looking out for himself … [but then he’ll be] disalarmingly on her side and [has] consistently shown interest. I mean, you never know.”

Other details unveiled at the event include the possibility of Sam and Tara having new love, while Lafayette and Jesus and Arlene and Terry will remain together for now. As for Eric’s memory loss, “He messed with the wrong people,” Actor, Alexander Skarsgard who plays Eric said, “Everything that we’ve built up in the past three seasons is just gone. … He’s lost, completely lost,” he added, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The True Blood cast also shared crazy fan stories. Jon Manganiello told the story of how a fan asked him to lick her after she heard that wolf saliva would cure her. Skarsgard shared the story of a mother who wrote him a letter asking him to fly out to Ohio to marry his daughter and offered him a lot of money, “so of course I did,” he joked.
