Eva Longoria and Tony Parker Divorce Finalized

According to In Touch Weekly, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are officially divorced. The paperwork went through and Longoria is no longer a desperate wife, but a single lady. A friend of Longoria said that she was “happy and moving forward with her life.”

The divorce was formally finalized on January 28th in Texas. Sources tell TMZ that they both decided the divorce should go through in Texas since that’s where they signed their prenup, even though Longoria filed for divorce in Los Angeles.  As a reminder, Longoria decided to end the relationship last November, amidst allegations that husband Tony Parker had cheated on her with a former team mate’s wife.  She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for ending their marriage. They had been together for seven years and married for three.

The divorce was initiated by Longoria when she discovered that her husband, San Antonio spurs point guard, had been sending inappropriate text messages to Erin Barry, the wife of Brent Barry of nearly a year. Parker confessed everything when his wife confronted him about it. Erin Barry, also going through a divorce, released a statement last December saying that she never had an affair with Parker, and that they were nothing more than just friends that supported each other.

On her website, BarrysHelpSA.org, she wrote “Unfortunately, because our divorces are occurring at the same time, great speculation has been cast on our friendship. My friendship with Tony Parker had nothing to do with the end of my marriage (which is painful enough without this added drama), and to assume that we had an affair is naïve, ridiculous, and completely misguided.”

No matter what you believe, Longoria was recently seen with Penelope Cruz’s 25 year old brother, Eduardo and they are reported to be dating.
