The PS3’s first MMORPG, DC Universe Online has earned itself some crowd pleasing, high-five, thumbs up from video game enthusiasts, and has proven to be more than players expected.  For those of you new to the DC Universe, this sensational game allows players to become their favorite super hero or super villain, and fight alongside the greats, such as Superman, Batman,  Wonder Woman, Spiderman, and more.

DC Universe gets big kudos for their impressive customization features for creating your super hero or villain.  There is a huge selection of custom options available, with everything from skin color, costuming, powers, and pretty much anything you can think of to make your hero or villain a unique and one of a kind creation.  Once you have created your character, you are then given a mentor to help you become acclimated. Once your character is fully active and getting into the storyline, based on your performance, you maybe be invited to join the Justice League.  You never know?

The game is action packed, and delivers a welcoming breath of fresh air when it comes to superhero video game genres, and the fact that it is also a MMORPG intensifies the thrill factor in and of itself!!  While some were unsure if the game would be able to pull off the full MMORPG affect, nobody is worrying anymore.  The game has even attracted many people who previously have not tried the MMORPG platform, but love the superhero/villain theme enough to try it out, hence diversifying and enlarging the player base virtually instantly.   DC Universe Online is available for purchase.
