Kim and Kourtney Kardashian Appear in Piers Morgan Interview

Kim Kardashian and her sister Kourtney, appeared on the Piers Morgan show on CNN Thursday night, and talked plastic surgery, fame and Twitter.

Piers Morgan flat out asked if they thought they had any significant skills that made them worthy of all the attention they got. Kim answered that their talents had to do with marketing, with fashion and styling. She added that being an entrepreneur and branding their products required certain skills, and that the Kardashians had three successful clothing stores. She pursued by saying that their successful reality show, was just so that viewers could get to know them on a more personal level, but their ultimate objective was to expand their business.

Kourtney mentioned that the people who saw them as talentless were usually the ones who didn’t follow their reality show and only saw their pictures and judged them solely on their Hollywood upbringing and appearance. Piers Morgan pointed out that some girls were drawn to the Kardashian sisters because they saw them as relatable. The sisters confirmed this and said that although they had a comfortable life in Beverley Hills, their parents cut them off at 18 and explained that they would have to work to continue to live comfortably.

Their father, the late Robert Kardashian, was a lawyer and made them sign contracts for everything. For example, when Kim got her first car, she had to sign a contract that stated that she would be liable for gas and maintenance costs among other things, and so she got a job at 16 at a clothing store.

Morgan discussed Kim Kardashian’s twitter following which placed her at number 6 in the world, right behind President Obama. Kim said that whenever her and her sisters were thinking of new business ideas, her fans and followers gave them great ones and that she tried to implement them whenever she could. “They’re the best focus group,” Kim said.

Morgan also alluded to plastic surgery. While Kim professed that she was all natural, Kourtney piped up and said, “These babies are not real.” So that rests the case, at least for a while. Kim also mentioned that she donated 10% of her earnings to church every year and also to the Dream Foundation.
