Justin Bieber Talks Selena Gomez and His Voice Breaking

Justin Bieber appeared on two different shows Monday to promote his movie ‘Never Say Never’; the Today Show with Matt Lauer and the Ryan Seacrest KIIS-FM radio show. He talked movies, his voice making it through puberty and Selena Gomez.

On the Today Show, Bieber talked about the change he was going through and how even his voice was different compared to when he had appeared on the show the previous time, how it was “definitely lower,” but he didn’t seem to be worried about it.

“I think that everybody’s voice changes and it’s just how you go through it…I have a great vocal coach that’s helping me,” Bieber said.

On the Ryan Seacrest radio show, Bieber talked about his alleged relationship with teen star Selena Gomez and insisted they were just “friends.” The pair was recently spotted in the Caribbean kissing and hanging out. The pictures circulated the internet and led to speculation that they were dating.

Seacrest asked Bieber what he should tell people who saw the Caribbean pictures and wanted to know whether they were dating or not. Bieber replied simply, “Just tell ’em that she’s, like, one of my best friends,” reports People.

Seacrest dropped the subject, but then asked what movie Bieber and Gomez had seen when they went to the movies recently in Burbank, California. When Bieber replied “No Strings Attached,” Seacrest jokingly said “That’s what I need right there.” The movie, starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher deals primarily with a friendship with benefits.

Gomez also denies reports of her and Bieber dating, and previously said that she considered him to be like a brother and a “major dork,” reports Disnology. However, they have been spotted together many times recently at a frozen yogurt shop where they were holding hands and at a sporting event. This only served to fuel the rumors even further.
