Chris Brown Spurs More Drama While Promoting ‘F.A.M.E’

Chris Brown went on ‘Good Morning America’ yesterday to promote his new album F.A.M.E and reportedly got upset because the anchor kept asking Rihanna-related questions. While he was able to finish the interview, he reportedly tore off his shirt stormed off the set, broke some furniture, and refused to perform a planned song, according to MTV.

Brown was hoping for a chance to promote his new album and when asked about the 2009 abuse incident, he answered, “I’m past that in my life,” according to the Guardian. “I’ve been focusing on this album.”When he talked about the meaning of the title of his new album F.A.M.E, anchor Robin Robert persisted with Rihanna questions, saying “You can understand how some people … It was very serious what you went through and what happened,” she said. “This album is what I want to talk about,” Brown snapped. “Not what happened two years ago.”

An ABC source told E! Online, “He smashed a chair into a window and that glass is so thick, people heard shattering and security was called” adding, “It was to the point where people were scared.”

In a statement, ABC defended anchor, Roberts saying, “As always, we ask questions that are relevant and newsworthy…And that’s what we did in this interview with Mr. Brown,” according to MTV.

Thankfully for Brown, who is still on probation from his abuse case against Rihanna, ABC has decided not to pursue a criminal case against him and there won’t be an NYPD investigation, reports the Hollywood Gossip. According to Hollywood Life, GMA has even extended a second invitation to Brown to appear on the show.

After a successful 2010 year for Brown, he recently released his new album, entitled F.A.M.E which stands for “forgiving all my enemies,” and “fans are my everything,” reports MTV. On the album Brown collaborated with many artists such as Lil Wayne, who he calls “incredible”, adding to MTV, “I’ve had Wayne on every single album I’ve done. … Being able to work with these guys is incredible. “

He also worked with Justin Bieber on the “Next to You” song. He said of Bieber, “Being able to collab with [Bieber] was great,” Brown said. “He’s a young, energetic cat, so being able to work with him, with the fan base he has, was incredible. I know a lot of little girls are going to love this record,” he added on MTV’s “The Seven”.
