To start things out with a bang, Nic Wilson, the BodyMedia demonstrator (AKA: stunt man) parachuted from an airplane and skydiving into the convention center courtyard.  He did this wearing the savvy BodyMedia Fit Armband to help showcase the device’s flexibility.  He went on to wear the device for the duration of the 4 day CES event.

The BodyMedia Fit Armband measures calorie burn, activity levels, and even sleep efficiency.  The armband also sports an optional bluetooth that can communicate wirelessly to your smartphone and report all your results instantly without any wires or cords to mess with and without removing the armband.  The Fit Armband is compatible with both the iPhone and Android devices.

Nic demonstrated the BodyMedia Fit and its features, showing onlookers how it was recording his calorie burn activity, his heart rate, and revealing how active he was or was not.  It is easy to set up and to interact with.  It is designed to be user friendly and to help the average person understand where they are in fitness healthy in order to optimize the results for developing an effective fitness plan for themselves.

This innovative fitness device is so much more than the average heart rate monitor.  It provides the tools you need to live smarter and healthier.
