Research Says Drinking Coffee Can Help Prevent Disease

As is common, many of the things that we are told are bad for us to eat and drink turn out to have some hidden health benefit that are discovered years down the road, after we’ve all sworn it off.   Well that is exactly what has happened in respect to your morning cup of Joe.  After years of being told that caffeine is harmful and that we should be drinking decaffeinated beverages, recent studies have indicated that this may not necessarily be true.

Research has linked drinking coffee to some significant health benefits that are could not only put coffee addicts at ease, but may even encourage non-coffee drinkers to consider making the coffee bean leap.  Of course all things should be enjoyed i moderation, but it is possible that your coffee drinking could be instrumental in achieving a likelihood of not developing certain diseases, such as Parkinson’s disease, type 2 diabetes, and dementia.  Individuals who are coffee drinkers have been found to experience fewer cases of heart rhythm problems, strokes, and certain types of cancer.

While the research is not yet conclusive, the research related to coffee drinkers’ resistance to developing Type 2 Diabetes is considered to be substantial, and efforts continue to confirm the research on the other diseases as well.  The coffee industry is more than pleased with the big thumbs up they’ve gotten based on the research and findings, and are likely to gain a larger customer base with the health concerns alleviated surrounding coffee.

We also expect the coffee brewer industry to see a surge in consumers purchasing the appliance for their homes, such as the highly rated and extremely popular Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System.  Home brewing systems have become the hot new trend among coffee drinkers who are looking to enjoy a gourmet coffee quality beverage in the comfort of their own homes, for a fraction of the cost of multiple Starbucks drinks per day.  From basic, to ultra fancy, the Single Cup Brewing System Store at Amazon will have the perfect coffee brewer for your own personal taste, or that of those coffee drinking enthusiasts on your Christmas shopping list.
